North Bay’s mission is to provide inclusive, innovative aesthetics and wellness healthcare.
We advocate for all bodies, offering expert, compassionate services for clients of every size, shape, race, ethnicity and gender identity or expression.
Our aim is to create a radically welcoming, body-neutral space for all of our clients to receive consultation and care, so that they may express their truest selves.
We believe that every human has the right to express their most authentic self without judgment, celebrating the human body in all of its wonder and variety.
Moya Meckel (she/her) is our CEO and Primary Provider at North Bay.
With more than 13 years in nursing practice, Moya is a board-certified, Yale-trained Nurse Practitioner, California native, and highly-skilled aesthetics prescriber and injector.
Moya loves long walks with her partner, dogs, and two elementary-aged kids, a triple cappuccino, live music, and most anything covered in cheese. She secretly hopes to run into author Anne Lamott every time she goes to the grocery store in Marin. (Anne, are you out there? Do you need a vitamin drip?)
She was born and raised on the Monterey Bay. She now resides in Marin County and treats aesthetics patients all over the State of California.
Aden was raised among the mountains of Missoula, Montana. She presently lives in Berkeley. She loves to ride her bike and run along the shore of the bay, always ready to go on a hike at a moment’s notice.
With an extensive work history in client relations, Aden’s superpower is her almost-magical ability to put anyone at ease, which you’ll feel the moment you enter our clinic.
If you show Aden a picture of your cat, you will make her day and receive some pics of her furry babies Minnie and Peach in return.
Janine (she/her) is in charge of business operations and communications.
Janine is passionate about doing good whereever she goes and with whatever materials are at hand. Janine carries a diverse toolset, healthy snacks, and a towel because you never know.
Born and raised a Californian, she now dials in to North Bay from her treehouse perch in Portland, Oregon. (She *really* likes to visit, too.)
When she’s not working, Janine is reading, cycling, creating, and imagining with her two school-aged kids and partner, and the family dog, Judy.
Vivian (she/her) is Coming soon!
Sparkle (she/her) is our Events and Outreach Coordinator
Inclusivity is “seeing the humanity in each person and accommodating them as they are. This inevitably includes rebuilding gatekeeping/systemic structures to make each individual feel at home in an environment and within themselves.”
When she’s not helping out at North Bay HQ, she teaches accessible and affirming yoga classes online. Learn more about her at sparkleasyouare.com.
